I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

To clarify: talking about The Wonderful Agency. Not just a wonderful agency.
Use it as leverage and if they won't match, still GO. Personally I work to live, I don't live to work. Yeah career satisfaction and all that but we work in ADVERTISING--not curing cancer. We don't have to be that good at our job. Even if you do it for six months or a year, tops, you'll make so much for savings or whatever. Plus, do most people ever speak highly of the agency they left? Not that I've run into. I've heard horror stories and recruiter "don't goes" about a bunch of agencies. I went. It wasn't that bad. Or it was, and I made my exit when I could. And none of them gave me a 30k bump.
Are they better than the Awesome agency?
No money is the worst
Lololol
My coworker came to us from Wonderful. They tried to counter when he left and he turned down a title bump and 30K just to be able to leave. He has tons of horror stories...
I've heard super negative things about Wonderful. Met with an established LA agency recruiter and she recommended not even to send my resume there even though there was a position I was super interested in. Lots of internal issues that have gone unresolved for years. Issues between it being an in-house agency for the business side of Wonderful Co. so competing ideas on who is "right" and makes final call on the marketing - the in house agency teams and execs, or the Wonderful Co business stakeholders... I wouldn't go...
@Art Director 2 Woof. So I take it that's a firm DON'T GOOOO then? Would love to hear some of the not so wonderful details...
I follow the money
Why not?
Take it and make a new Fiji spot please. That VO haunts my nightmares.
@Strat 1, because those of us that are good at our job care more about being somewhere that will let us continue being good at our job. 30k might motivate a haphazard hack, though.
Depends on what the opportunity is. If it's just about money then yeah do it, but if you're happy where you are at, use it as leverage for a counter
Yes.
Wait. Applying or they made you an offer?
They've made an offer. I'm at an agency I like, but not producing much. Was ready to accept offer, until I heard a few horror stories. Curious if anyone has heard otherwise...
The fuck are you even debating this
When they offer a ton it's a sign that no one else will go and they have to lure you in
Best clarification ever. And how much are you making that $30 K more isn't enough to leave??
Hahaha
