Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I am told it is only going to be a M now, for my own benefit-no EY network means failure at selling. Whats the highest salary I can negotiate at M. Any other tips will be handy. I have "sold" (support on sales & new roles through relationships) plus I have solid delivery experience. I really want SM 😀😀😀 EY

Depends on where you are in your Marriott journey and if you care about things like lifetime status. The reserve card is generally accepted as being "better" than the Marriott card in terms of rewards, but you also get 15 elite nights a year, a free night certificate, and earn additional elite nights for every $3k. So in my personal case, I just hit lifetime gold and am working towards lifetime platinum as soon as possible since I don't think I'll be in consulting much longer. The Marriott card helps with that, but I only use it for Marriott spend at the moment. The sign on bonus of like 80k is also pretty good right now. As a general suggestion: good to have in your wallet, but probably not worth it to use for actual spend.
If looking for signup bonus SPG Amex is better as it's at 35k Starwood pts temporarily (=105k Marriott). Also consider the Ritz card as it has some premium benefits both Marriott and CSR don't have.
What BSC1 said. Good for pursuing lifetime status and yearly status. CSR better in all other aspects
