Hi Fishes, I cleared technical and MCQ round at Accenture. And got a mail stating i have been selected for HR round. Later the same day a hr called and asked me to upload all documents and asked my expected CTC and stuff. Earlier in portal it was showing interviewing , now it shows review or pending and has a message ' we regret to inform that you experience does not align with req, we will contact if anything comes up' , what does this mean. How can they put something like this?

Wouldn’t want to be a start up in the coming year…
We all have our strengths HAHAH😂
Agree with PwC1. Equity $$ is running low. Many investors are holding their dollars. I work with multiple startups and they are all in panic funding mode (bridge loans, locs whatever they can get their hands on, because investor purse strings are closed)
That said... if you lost your job at the startup because it crashed and burned, would you have enough runway to get another well paying job? Would it probably take longer than it took to make the difference in earnings? Something post IPO can also fail, but it's less likely.
Post IPO SaaS doesn't mean fewer hours necessarily either...
Also, private equity is kind of annoying. They usually have requirements like certain dividend amounts every year, other "covenant-like" milestones or measurements and required budgets and forecasts have unrealistic growth numbers in them (that has been my experience). Even if it's not realistic you kinda just gotta do what they want on paper for those forward looking documents, as long as the assumptions backup the calcs. It rubbed me wrong because then when we reported actuals out, they were always scrutinizing why some targets aren't being hit... like, because sales didn't grow 20%. That's why. But we grew the sales team to try and hit that target...and we invested in product development, so we have more expenses/cash outlay and not more income.... but they want to know WHY sales didn't grow... idk dude... c suite sales guy gives me the run around, how about you ask him?
I’d personally roll the dice on the startup if you like the company/culture. Big4 is so understaffed rn I don’t think we’ll freeze hiring even in a recession so you can always boomerang back if you want/need. 40k in base is a lot to give up just based on the possibility of a slowdown which may not even impact your job
this is the direction i’m leaning. it’s a great role. whereas the other is basic. so better skill set.
1 for likely better WLB and job security
