Wow, I can't imagine going through this! Have you ever had a job offer rescinded after you accepted and quit your current position? Is there anything you can do as an applicant to prevent this from happening or any red flags we should be looking out for?

I’m new to the cybersecurity industry, professionally speaking (I did/do a lot for family and close friends). I’ve completed a boot camp, which I regret doing. I have certifications for companies such as Qualys and ISC2, but no CompTIA security+ yet. I tailor my resume to position descriptions. It’s been a month or so, without any offers. What would you suggest that I do to get my first entry level position?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? I started in my first SDR position in a small SaaS start up few months ago. I am the only SDR and their first ever.

I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever.
