New to this status stuff... my delta app doesn't show any roll over mqms when it should. Do I need to contact delta? Same thing with my Marriott app... thanks.
Just found out I’m getting laid off in two weeks. How do I stay motivated to do work until then?
Completed all formal interviews for an opportunity. Now they'd like me to have an informal meet & greet with the person I would be managing. I love the idea of this and I already manage in my current role. Looking for other HR 🐠 perspectives on how to approach this informal meet & greet...take the lead? Treat it like a 1:1? Ask what her professional goals are? How she's managed WFH during COVID? Her experience in the company/on the team? Her communication style/how she likes to receive feedback
Anyone interested in a Digital Project Manager role in industry? I just made the move and wanted to share the wealth. Drop me a note if interested.
Is it appropriate to message a recruiter (at Deloitte on Skype) on about a full time analyst position that I am interested in? Currently an intern at Deloitte
Why are there so many associates that managers have to clean up after? Clearly a problem, we should be out there selling work. Not wasting our time baby-sitting and holding your hand.
Would you all consider the people you work with friends? Or it strictly just professional. Have a hard time navigating this and how much I should reveal about myself to others
My team is hiring a Manager for our global learning and development team. This role will have high visibility as it will manage and lead our high potential leadership program. We are looking for someone with strong L&D experience and executive presence/communication skills to execute on a high performing team. It’s a fully remote role. If you know of someone who would be interested and a good fit, I’d be happy to answer questions and send a referral link!
Mini poll - Best firm among Tier 2: (also would be lovely to know why) 💜 - GT ❤️ - BDO 💚 - RSM
In the midst of all these layoffs, I'd just like to point out that I've worked for FCB Health for 15 years (now at Area 23 for last 6 years) and in my time here, there has not been a single layoff.
How's Edelman NY? Getting hit up for Health which I've never done. It'll entail moving from advertising to PR/earned creative as they call it, and the Health category. Didn't sound like hard sell pharma, quite a bit of branded video content. I searched on FB, sounded mostly negative culturally (employee fired during Pride month, political, creatives better watch their backs, climate denier) with a few who love it. Figured I'll ask if anything's changed, if it's even worth ... considering.
Told recruiter that my min salary expectation is $185k. As I’ve gotten to know more about the job, I’m less keen about it and need more $$ assurance. How do I handle this without pissing them off. Thx
Looks like my united status match is not gonna be completed by the time. Is there anyway to rebate? I am 4 segments short for gold and wonder if I can talk my way out
We are currently building the plan for the hybrid model we will follow mid October. (No specific date yet.) We have committed to an A/B model with groups attending MT and Th/F in person, working remotely the other three days. If you have an AB model do you deliver the same content to your students each day, regardless of them being remote or in person? Or is the lesson cycle one that begins on the first day you teach in person for each group? This second model seems complicated.
I am interviewing at a top tech firm and have been told I need to take a 45 min excel assessment. Has anyone taken something like this/does anyone have prep advice?
Have salaries in advertising really changed over the years/decades? I remember in 1993 at Lowe NYC when the salary list was left on the printer... the CDs were making about $200k on average. That’s 27 years ago.
