I am on H1B, and currently based out of bay area, CA. Can I buy property/ real estate in TX or GA for purely investment purposes and use rental income from that to offset mortgage payment and generate cash flow. Is that okay to do on H1B? Any advice from people who have done this or from legal folks in this bowl will be helpful.

They will charge 72k for this and 2k for profile investigation. They claim that under work permit, accomodation, travel cost, meal will be borne by employer for whole work visa tenure along with salary as per profile and market standard.
Are they legit ?

Have an LIC policy that will be worth arnd 50 lakhs when I surrender it (plan down payment for an apartment). Struggling to convince parents this should be enough for me to move back. When should a stub start getting worried about not having much work and low billable hours?
I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options?
