Should I quit? Audit staff 1, received an industry offer for $65k plus 5% bonus. About 40 hours a week, 50 during month end, 55 during quarter end. They seem to promote from within, too.
Question for Deloitte (maybe other big 4 too), if you are audit staff and help bring in an audit client, thru your direct networking, do you get a bonus or anything? Or just a high-five?
Staff two here and just got my new salary. Base is a measly $2,700 more than incoming hires. When you take into account their bonus our peer group makes 8.1% less than people with zero experience. How does this make any sense. Did leadership think this was a good idea? I’ve been reading a lot on fishbowl about managers making less than incoming MBAs. How is that fair? Think this was a really poor job of executing salary adjustments. Am I wrong or does there need to be a change soon
P-dubs, based way to give notice? Is my $3.5K bonus worth staying until 10/15 if I can't get new co. to cover it? Was thinking: email to RP and HR w/2 weeks notice on 10/1, they'll then schedule call?
Almost a year into current job. Tons of long hours and menial work but starting to do some really cool stuff now. In-house agency reached out and the lower end of their budget is nearly 2x my salary..
Deloitte Advisory, first year senior consultant salary ? Those from Deloitte consulting, we know u make more, please don't respond.
Recruiter asked me where I was living and I told her the nearest big city to my house. She then asked if I lived in the city or the suburbs. Besides homes office do they ask this to see if you should get a higher/lower salary depending on your response?
I’m currently am a core and advanced comp lead and thinking of getting another certification... would you recommend taking Learning or Talent+Performance? Long term goal is solution architect.
Do you trust Glassdoor for salary info?
Does it financially make sense to get your MBA through GSAP? I know the pay bump and bonus are substantial after you come back, but no salary for 2 years + living expenses sounds rough.
If you switch offices does EY “recalibrate” salary. Lets say i move from NYC to Phoenix will they lower my pay?
My friend is a senior analyst at a small, elite nonprofit that does mostly quantitative consulting (think econometrics and dealing with massive data sets) for public sector orgs. He has a BA and MA in Economics, is obviously extremely quantitative, great presenting skills, strong work ethic, intermediate programming skills, multilingual. 10 YOE. In DC. Any idea what kind of salary he could shoot for in a commercial line of business or tech firm? I was thinking 130-160.
Senior it auditor - where can I go/what can I do from here? Right now chasing salary while wanting a good work life balance and the it audit work isn’t stimulating me anymore
Growth fintech startup with more than $25mm funding...what kind of salary and comp packages to expect?
Seems obvious to me yet i still must ask to hear out the trade offs…. Non equity tech MD at a specialty business unit at MBB, or MD at a leading system integrator with public equity and significant total compensation increase? Feels like being a true MD and no second rate citizen status supersedes the MBB brand name if you’re not partner track.
Google just reached out to me about a Sales Engineer/ Solution Architect role. Does anyone have any details about responsibilities/ wlb/ salary expectations?
SC at D up for M this year. Offered an SC role at a smaller firm with a significant salary bump. I probably won’t see this kind of base salary until I’d hit SM. I know it’s ultimately my decision... but crowdsourcing the value of M title from B4 for better exit opportunities
vp social media director salary, Chicago?
Comp for the new Senior Manager level at PwC?
Is there anyone at CVS Health (Enterprise Analytics) that’s willing to chat about the interview process/role? I have an interview for the “Solution Strategist, Advisor” role, but there was no recruiter call and they went directly to scheduling the interview. Thanks in advance for any insights! Particularly any insight into the “technical/coding interview” would be appreciated since the team/role seems Data Science heavy?
I’m looking to leave consulting. But a McKinsey recruiter reached out to me recently about interviewing. I just don’t have the passion to go through case interviews and then actually work in another consulting company as a PPT monkey. Am I crazy ?
Have to fly on Southwest today. Not going to be elitist, it’ll get me there. I am okay with being herded like cattle. I am okay with the lady and her loud 🎶 ... but I will draw the line at no Biscoff
Hi. Is there anyone that works at the Big 4 that can please give me a referral? Thank You.
Do some employers actually cover your MBA costs after-the-fact if you decide to break your sponsorship with your current firm and switch to them? How feasible is it to obtain that?
Is financial tech consulting to more of a market finance exit doable? What are some steps to take in that direction? MBA? CFA?

Is it true that Cognizant lays off/fires even the most loyal people just like that by deliberately giving low ratings and by paying 4 months salary up front or is it really only for those worse performing employees?
How do companies in Europe view T15 MBAs from USA? For instance if down the road I relocate to Europe would a T15 MBA from USA give me a competitive edge? Or its just neutral? Europe doesn’t care.
I currently work in a hybrid sales/marketing role. However, I would love more experience in marketing specifically so I can move in to a marketing specific role. Does anyone have a suggestion of books or articles, podcasts, organizations to follow that will allow me to stay up to date on the latest trends but also help prepare for a marketing centric role? Thank you
Is getting LinkedIn premium while job hunting a must? I want to reach out to recruiters directly but inmail is only for premium members. I’m getting discouraged. I know one month is free, but it’s just a lot of money after that (my salary is depressingly low)
So my bf family originally canceled Christmas celebrations due to covid but is now planning to have a “get together” with just half the family while excluding the other half. When I asked wont the other half be mad, I was told they just won’t tell them about it. I being who I am told someone on the side not being invited cuz I thought it was plain wrong. The person acted on it today asking if it was happening to a cousin in law and now they’re trying to see how it happened. Did I mess up?
