This! You don’t want to pose a number that isn’t market relevant. I’d do some research on the role and see what’s out there in the market and then weigh your experience against that and see if double is realistic. I mean, if you ask for double, one or the other will happen, 1- you’ll get a significant pay bump and be expected to deliver at that level, which is awesome or 2- you won’t get an offer because it’s too high/doesn’t align with the exp level of the job or your exp level
