I’m a PO in DFW with 2 1/2 years of experience at a DoD company. I’m making just above $70k (which i feel is insultingly low) and I feel like I’m way undervalued. I’ve been applying to jobs but can seem to get a call back. Is it because of my industry, the lack of experience, or something else? Do I need an MBA or certs?

How do you go about project managing a dumpster fire of a project? Lead technical consultant is MIA, the juniors are not proactive and when I distribute work to them, they are consistently late. Also I am not the SME of the topic we’re consulting for and don’t have anyone to go to for technical guidance (since they’re always MIA). I’m drowning.

Hey BOS sales pros: Career pivot Jan. of this year, pivoting —> roughly a decade of law enforcement (I also have prior military experience / multiple deployments for anyone in that realm) to outside facilities sales. I feel I was slightly misguided on Y1 OTE, and I find myself kicking myself to a degree for not targeting tech sales. Does anyone know of any Tech companies hiring? I have networked on LI, and applied to a few roles w/ an updated resume, with not much luck. Any leads?

Anyone know what Program Manager packages range from at Intuit? I feel low-balled. I was on the initial 30 minute call and they asked my expectations, so I stated I’d like to here their range. They stated max salary: 167k, rsu 70k (4yrs to vet), and bonus 15%. I expect salary to be 225-300k and RSU to be over 100k

I'm a registered nurse living in metro ATL. I have 8 years total experience (5 cardiac and 3 behavioral health). I currently make $40/hr base not including night differential (I'm staff, not traveler). Is my salary decent for the amount of years I've been a nurse and location?

Accepted a new job that requires me to move to from ATL to NYC. Hybrid role, $110k. I have always been very money conscious, but due to some non-monetary factors I’m debating a few things. Essentially fresh out of school and worth about $50k. Friends in the area suggest living in a popular area that’s commutable to the office. 2-2.5 w/ and 2.5-3k w/o roommates. I’m finding it very hard to justify these prices even with the pay. At what point can you justify paying more for housing costs?
