What is the average salary for a Tech Sourcer in the San Francisco Bay Area? I have over 3 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter, but not specifically sourcing/recruiting for tech positions. Interviewing w/ a tech start-up.

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

If you were only 5 months into working a tier 3 company and then got an offer from a tier 1 company, how much higher would the TC need to be for you to potentially burn that bridge?

I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. My total is different from post-grad different from manager titles. Some companies consider manager title to determine YOE for comp which didn’t make sense.
