Ambassador Elite here. Has anyone successfully matched to a Hyatt Globalist? I think I'm ready to finally move on from Marriott.

I am going to earn the 5 free nights certificate with marriott, worth up to 250k points/50k per night. I don’t need 50k points per night to the place I’m traveling to and was wondering if anyone wants to exchange 200k points for the 5 free nights? Or see if there are any other offers🥲

Just qualified for Hyatt Globalist; Hilton Diamond, and Marriott Titanium simultaneously for the first time. How should I celebrate?

For those who opened up several very expensive credit cards while on active duty to have them paid under SCRA, what cards did you keep, did you simply downgrade others instead of closing them, and how long did it take the banks to realize that you’re no longer on active duty to start charging you annual fees? I leave AD at the end of Nov, I have the amex platinum (of course), chase sapphire reserve, and amex bonvoy brilliant.

I don’t work at Big4 anymore but still use their codes for booking Marriott hotels and carry my old business card around in case they ask. I want to book a hotel room for family but I’m not traveling with, can I still use the code and message/call them and transfer the room name to my family member’s? Have others done this?

Spending a few nights in London. What’s the best place to stay that’s most central and walkable? It’ll be a Marriott brand for me but I don’t know which to pick!

Credit card advice? I have to get a new card (my choice) for work at a small firm. Will be used for travel (hotel and flights), food while traveling, and office expenses / set up (desk, monitors etc). Can’t use personal cards so need new one just for this job. Already have CSR and a bonvoy Amex and capital one venture card. Barely use the bonvoy and capital one so could repurpose those for this job, but could also start fresh. Any advice? Just stayed at the st Regis Bal Harbour Miami and decided to abandon the St Regis brand all together. Not worth the $ and they do not honor Bonvoy member benefit. I’m an Ambassador Elite but they wouldn’t give me even one hour of late check out. They put me on a fourth floor and asked for cash upgrade. The bathtub was dirty and the mirror has broken edges. St Regis overseas had been very nice but somehow not at all worth it in the US.

I'm about to lose Marriott Ambassador Elite this coming year due to lack of travel with very few points left. Should I convert to Hilton, Hyatt, or other? I don't expect too much travel (maybe a few days every month or 2)
