Any advice for someone in industry that is interviewing for a senior consultant position? How does one relate or what strengths do I need to show?

From 1 of the auto mailers I noticed Capgemini is offering me B1 position (associate consultant)
By the time I compete my notice period I'll have total 4 YOE. So shouldn't it be B2(consultant) atleast?
And do I need to discuss this before receiving offer letter or post that?

L.E.K. might have taken a good step to restart a referral bonus. ZS already gives the “referral bonus” if we refer somebody ‘that we directly know’, and if that person “makes it through all interviews and gets hired by ZS”. How could a seasoned L.E.K. consultant refer somebody to the firm without knowing well? Is the “referral bonus” really high, that everyone is racing for handing out referrals, like “throwing the hook to see if we catch any big fish”? Or is it due to “severe understaffing”?

Negotiating Salary: I was offered a position at a boutique firm in NY, I am able to negotiate my salary as an out of undergrad consultant. I am thinking of saying my expectations are $120,000 just based on the 33% HTI ratio; based on nearby neighborhoods where my office is located. I also will be obtaining my masters next May which should add a bit of value to the firm. Does that sound reasonable as my “ideal” salary? I don’t want to sound money hungry and seem off-putting to HR.

Want to move from IT infra presales(cloud, dc, network, dwp,network etc) to a core consulting role. But everwhere I keep getting rejected saying tht my profile is too IT inclined.
I am in the business of selling services and not actually a dc engineer or network sme, yet recruiters don't seem to understand.

How quickly can you jump to an internal position in your firm?

Mine recently shared some HR positions they they’re looking if people are interested or can share with their networks.

I’ve only been with the firm for 6 months, but in that time I realized I’m not very passionate about my speciality or being a consultant. Currently my area has a lull in projects so I’m barely staffed, but feel it would be too soon to open up to my coach and mention this HR gig.

I will be starting from scratch in EY whereas i will get a good hike and better designation at FSL. EY is Bangalore and FSL is Mumbai. I prefer Mumbai. Pls advice

Hi fellow fishes, want your help on an aspect.
I've been offered the Sr Consultant role at EY with 20LPA CTC.
I'm at level 9 in Accenture with total 6 years of work experience (2.5 yrs pre-MBA and the remaining post-MBA). I'm getting a feeling that I've been lowballed (by quite a margin).
Just wanted to know if that's the case and that this is the standard pay for this role at EY.
