Hey everyone. Anyone know if anyone is hiring for supply chain related consulting ? I have ten YOE and an MBA in SCM. Im working as a manager right now but am hoping to transition.

What are the top 5 things to do within the first 30/60/90 days when starting a new role as manager at a new firm?

Has anyone moved to IC role from people manager? Does that type of time exist in consulting?

Will be up for promo in 2023, was a campus hire and have 1.5 yrs experience. Wondering if it’s worth pursuing an external business analyst role as a contractor in the healthcare industry (9 month contract, possibility for FT after). In the interview they said I would need to provide a rate - does anyone have experience with this and how much would I ask for? Currently around 95k total comp

How’s everyone currently doing with interviews/exit ops? I’m in the process with interviews, but haven’t received an offer yet.

Why do companies that are undergoing a restructuring hiring for roles when they likely will be cut? Like I’m seeing a ton of people who were hired a month ago being let go when I feel like the organizations leadership likely knew many of these roles wouldn’t last through the restructuring.

Have an offer for entry level consultant role @ Kearney and Accenture, Kearney’s reputation is better in consulting but does Accenture have better exit ops in industry? Specifically tech

Thinking about moving to the US or Canada from Germany - any advice on how to land a consulting role there without having a visa yet and not being present in either country? Can this work via referrals? Just thinking about how to solve the visa issue. I have previous consulting experience at MBB level.

Want to start thinking about exit from strategy any advice?

At a Tier 2, mainly working on CDDs for PE, always wanted to move to PE or VC investing is that a relative good exit?

Background 5YOE 2 in strat, 3 in TS/Vals

How would you go about it?

How do you list out your roles/experience on LinkedIn? Do you:
1. Put your company/job title (e.g. consulting analyst, management consultant, consulting manager, etc) and summarize all of your project experience at each level, or
2. Put your project title as your role (e.g. business consultant, marketing practitioner, op model lead, delivery lead) and note the industry/experience for each project
3. Combinator both (company title listed concurrently with project titles)
4. Something else

Exit interview coming up, is it a good idea to open up about my experience in a professional manner or better to keep things private (eg. pay could have been more commensurate for experience/work level. ) I’d like to hear any thoughts on exit interviews, about to have my first.

Considering making a move from big 4 business consulting to a smaller (~200 people) digital transforation consulting firm in CA in that is hiring for specific staff augmentation role at one of their clients which is an $800 mil revenue and rapidly growing SaaS company. I know I would enjoy this new role but pay is the same although it is fully remote (my current role is defeintly not and I don't particularly enjoy the work/travel). I've always tried to not overthink these silly things but ultimately when you know a response could be to your benefit its hard not to overanalyse.
