I’m interested in transitioning to a role in the consumer markets sector. I’ve been on a staff aug project doing back office compliance work so I’ve been trying to apply to different firms but I’m not having much luck. As additional background I’ve been running a successful side hustle for about 6 years, and I’ve gotten a decent understanding of growing a small business, consumer habits, but unfortunately I don’t have any consulting experience in consumer markets. Any advice or leads? TIA!

I have an informational interview with a director of a consulting firm. I’m currently in banking. It’s just been 6 months at this job for me. It’s too slow for me. How do I tell this director why I want to work with him and justify why I want to leave my current firm just after 6 months? I’m an analyst and the role I’m targeting is also analyst level role

I just received a verbal offer as a program manager at vp level from a US BB in London. Unfortunately the number was a round down of my current pay. I’m currently a business manager in banking and thinking to move to the program manager role as a step towards more broader opportunities in the future (COO, consulting type of roles).
Should I accept the offer?
The HR told me that there will be opportunities for promotion in the next 12 to 24 months.

I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.
