Has anyone here interviewed with Verizon for their Corporate Strategy MBA intern position?

Exited to a corp strategy role at a large Fortune 500. Pretty sure I want to leave early next year after only a year+.

What are the chances they come for my signing bonus? It doesn’t fully ‘vest’ until Q4 2023.

Hi everyone- Sadly, I have been affected by the unexpected furlough wave right before the holidays. I worked as a level 3 consultant in business operations on Microsoft projects as a PM.
I graduated this Spring with an MS in Finance & am an international student with limited unemployment days. I am wondering which consulting companies are currently actively hiring.

Situation: parent of young kids. 100% wfh role. AmazingWLB. Ok comp (210) - dislike my boss.

Op 1: switch to new role in company. Same comp. Much better job & boss. Promo in next 2 years unlikely. (Industry)

Op 2: back to consulting. Minimum 50% bump, max 100%. Some travel. WLB not great. Like the people much better.

Love wlb and remote with op 1 but comp and how it sets my family up very enticing in op 2. What to do..

A couple of months ago I left consulting for a Director-level position with a team of five people (all new hires). About a week ago one of my employees (project lead) told me they feel overwhelmed by work and cannot deliver on the level they’ve been hired for. We’re talking about “downgrading” them one rank to allow for future growth into the role, but curious to hear if anyone had a similar situation and how you dealt with it?

Any pointers on deloitte case study interview on tech arch position. Is it the project specific case study?
Any reference for preparation?

If you had the opportunity to switch from a T2 consulting firm (Kearney, OW, LEK) consultant role w/ 2 YOE to become a new grad SWE at a T2 tech company (Salesforce, Microsoft, Bloomberg), would you? Concerned about salary progression but would like to ideally work <55 hrs per week consistently.

What role in industry would you leave consulting for?

I’m thinking about leaving consulting to go into advertising / a more creative role (e.g., creative director, brand strategist, etc). Any thoughts?

Does anyone know at what position can a person with 2-2.5 yrs of experience at a Big 4 join MBB at ? Do we come in as experienced business analysts ?

Hi fishies! So I was wondering if I can have some advice on my predicament. I received an offer to PwC, however I received a email to interview for a more desirable role at PwC? What should I do? Am I screwed and have to accept the other role?

Currently a management consultant at Accenture Canada. I've been proactively reached out by the recruiting team at Capgemini and offered a bump from ~105K to ~133 K base for the role of advisory manager. 

How do I squeeze the most out of the salary negotiation process? I suspect that my work life balance and amount of support I’ll receive on projects will take a hit as they have a relatively less established Canadian market practice.

Any other thoughts on the transition? Thanks so much!

Can any MBB experienced hire confirm if GRE or SAT scores are required during the application process? Did you submit any test scores when applying? I’m looking at the BA role at McK, SA role at BCG and SAC role at Bain. I have a masters but my GMAT score is terrible so I am trying to decide if I should apply without the score or spend some time to write GRE before applying.
YOE: 2.5 years of industry experience with a masters.

Can anyone refer me for an associate level position at Putnam London office?

Is it an easy transition from Capgemini to Accenture or Deloitte? Starting a new role for Capgemini but would like to move switch to Accenture or Deloitte in a year or two (Canada). Are there any tips on how to prepare for this transition?

Anyone working at CVS Health open to discussing a referral?

I’m currently in the middle of interviewing for a role. When I spoke to the recruiter in our intro call, she mentioned that she could see all the other roles I had applied to in that company. There is another role I’m interested in in addition to the one I’m currently interviewing for. I have not received an invitation to interview for this role, however.
Is it unprofessional to ask the recruiter about this position? I don’t believe she is the one hiring for it but I want to convey my interest

Why does EY sell their “advisory services” as consulting?! I left a boutique consulting firm in SA with nice perks and great strategy projects to get into a “senior risk consultant/ advisory” role at EY UK, only to find out it’s glamorized risk models audit. Gutted to say the least.

I know that recruiting now is slow and most of the firms are on a hiring freeze, but are there firms who are currently making the exception and are still actively hiring for some reasons? I have an MBA and about 4 years of consulting experience and I am planning to switch firms (currently at big 4) but I want to make sure I have enough options in the market to take into consideration (will stay in consulting) Thank you!

Has anyone done the pre-screening questionnaire during the hiring process at Booz Allen and if so, what was your experience? I havent had the last interview yet. This is just a pre-screening questionnaire that they give prospective hires who do not have active security clearance to gauge how long it will take to go through the clearance process. I’m concerned that they may not hire me if they deem me as taking too much time to move through. Thoughts?
