Go to SWE. Young enough to not need to be concerned with salary progression lol when becoming a SWE

Focus on the skills, not prestige. Any of those companies will do wonders for you in the long run
As long as you don’t dislike SWE work. And you’re overestimating hours there, you won’t even get close to touching 55. More like 30-40 for most teams.
If you only care about salary progression, you shouldn’t even be in consulting in the first place - aim for a PE exit instead.
