To anyone who works at iProspect or has some insight: how has the company handled COVID-19? What does the typical salary tier look like for Search positions?

Considering working remotely when our office goes back. I’d be moving from an expensive city to a less expensive one. Any tips for renegotiating salary, how often you fly in, who pays for lodging, flights, overall best practices?

I’m interviewing at an agency in Nashville and have been working in San Francisco for 8 years. What might be a realistic salary range for a director position in a “tier-2” city like Nashville or Denver vs a NYC or SF?

I’ve never worked in the US but am wondering what salary would be for the following roles at at digital agency on the West Coast. I have 10 years of experience as a creative and film director.

Question about overtime on salary—if we’re on salary and working till 2AM, and not getting paid overtime due to being on staff, does that mean the agency is billing clients for all those extra hours and pocketing all of it? 🤔

Who gets paid the best in an ad agency, account, planner or creative? Do all 3 roles get similar compensation? (comparing roles of the same seniority e.g. planning director vs account director vs creative director)

Have salaries in advertising really changed over the years/decades? I remember in 1993 at Lowe NYC when the salary list was left on the printer... the CDs were making about $200k on average. That’s 27 years ago.

As a Sr Associate, at what time is it “okay” to start conversations about a raise/promotion? Working at an agency that has reduced salaries since March (like most agency people, I think).

Only, there was no date cited that my salary would be returned to pre-COVID level. Is this occurring at other places? Should I rightfully be alarmed or is it simply because my agency (understandably) has no idea how long COVID will affect the numbers?

2 months ago I was contacted by a recruiter who interviewed me 4 years ago at a different company and ghosted me. She clearly didn’t remember we’ve met before. So I did three interviews, talked start date and salary, got an offer, and ghosted her.

I make $60K, oversee design for a handful of global brands at a large Chicago agency, have 12 years of experience (5 in this position), and have 4-5 direct reports. I suspect I have the lowest salary for this level at my agency.

What’s a good/reasonable salary to ask for a senior role? Is 130k too high? I’ve heard of seniors making 95k. I currently make 85k as a mid.

A tech firm reached out, and I had a 30-min call with a CD. Went well and I agreed to more interviews. Turns out the next round is a “4-hour panel WebEx interview”. Their creative dept isn’t well established, so is it wrong for me to politely say “4 hours is a big investment, can we briefly chat about salary range, title, etc”? I kinda don’t want to go down this road for a lateral title and who-knows-what salary. If it was a better-known in-house shop, I’d go with the flow.
