Hi everybody, wondering best way to apply to consulting companies in ME. Currently a consultant in boutique US firm w/ 1.5 YOE a b.s. in business, masters in analytics and a fluent Arabic speaker. Ideally MBB for exit opp/ later on but anything top 10 is good imo. Also how does the pay work? If I'm from America will I get paid the American salary in USD? How's the WLB? Regular consultant 60-70? Can anyone provide a referral? Ive been to MBB final rounds off little prep before so confident now.

What is the salary range for a FSO business consultant at EY in a tier 1 city? 0 years of experience

I have been offered consultant role by EY. HR in verbal communication told me about the salary structure as Fixed + Variable % + Joining Bonus .
The offer letter mentions the Fixed and Joining Bonus but doesn't say anything about the Variable Portion. Is this okay or do I need to talk to HR about this?

Any help with making a decision here? I'm considering both as a Sr Consultant (I'm a manager but paid less than either):
- EY Parthenon 180K base + bonus (avg range 12-18% w a max of 25% so 45K). I got this salary range from the recruiter
- BCG but I don't know an actual salary offer for this. So I'm looking online seeing 165K base + some bonus "range" and a max of 40K.

BCG seems low comparatively, especially given the old "horror stories" of work/life balance. But I've heard good changes!

Hey 🐟 - I have an offer for EYP consultant. It's a ~30% jump in comp, but right now I'm a manager at a small shop with great WLB. Is it worth it to take the brand name and likely more hours even though id be stepping back in project responsibilities? Context - 3 YOE

Consulting was never my end game, always planned to exit after manager at some point for a program manager/strategy role in industry. I am currently a year 2 consultant who would be up for manager next year and could be making around 150k. I have an offer to exit to industry for 140k (10k higher than current salary), trying to decide if it’s better to leave now or hold out for the manager tittle.

Promoted to M 6 months ago at EY (not EYP), salary at $200K (HCOL).

Pros - Better exit opps, real strat work
Cons - Leveling down @ age 30

I’ll be making about 122k as a first year consultant this year and my wife about 80k in her profession. We are knocking right at the door of ROTH especially with my bonus.
