Hello All. I have offers from 1. PWC AC Bangalore (Senior Associate) 2. KPMG Assurance & consulting Gurgaon (Senior Manager in Digital Lighthouse) 3. Legato Gurgaon (Sr. Soft. Engg.) Please suggest in terms of WLB, career progression, projects and overall work env. Pwc is giving WFH but not sure how long will it continue for (will it be permanent?) How is the onboarding process in Publicis Sapient? Is it virtual ? I got location as Noida in my offer letter, can I get it changed to permanent WFH or is it my choice if I have to go office or not ?

Ideal monitor setup for WFH? I’m thinking about a 49” curved with a vertical monitor next it, but not sure if the height of a smaller curved monitor (35”?) is better than the added width of the 49” for reviewing pdfs/word docs. Thoughts? TIA!

20-30 hrs of fairly low stress work a week but not challenged/growing (fully remote) vs 50 hrs of stressful work but also a great career builder and challenged at the same time (in office) plus 50% higher salary

I’m only 27 so leaning towards taking the challenge and leaning in but conflicted bc I really value WLB, have some health issues that make long hours difficult for me, and planning to either FIRE or SAHM in ~5 years (higher paying job would let me do this sooner)

Any side gigs that are remote? I’m a stay at home mom looking to make some extra cash for groceries and activities. I have 11 years in the medical field - pharmacology, billing, emergency care etc. have my own laptop. Looked online haven’t found anything. Cost of living is going from bad to worse in Tier 1 cities. How are people working in non IT industry coping?

Even with a 20lpa to 25lpa pay range, I feel we barely making ends meet. I am commuting in buses/autorickshaws these days. Eating at street vendors or cooking at home. Cannot even afford Swiggy/Zomato. Have no IT background hence 50lpa+ salary is impossible to achieve. Now thinking of moving to Tier 3 city and take up permanent WFH jobs to feel middle class again

Do any of you guys manage to consistently work out during lunch breaks?

I’ve been going to the gym in the morning, and while that’s been good, it has its drawbacks, for me at least. The biggest drawback of going during lunch would be the lack of consistency due to meetings.

However WFH does make it way easier than it was before.

Moving from a place where average mbps speed is around 100, how much lower can you get to have seemless wfh experience (eg showing excel over zoom whilst sending an email & watching netflix in the background)?

Is 60mbps good enough for wfh with zoom etc? I would also appreciate any input on what other factors i should consider & suggestion for providers & cost
