What cameras do you recommend for remote court proceedings? Looking for something that has good visual quality, and low audio feedback. Looking online but everything has such varying reviews. Would appreciate what y’all use and whether you like it.

I’m having the hardest time finding a work from home position, specifically in the HR field. Can anyone help me out?

Anyone work remote and severely depressed? How do you cope? I wake each morning late logging on and flop on the couch in my pjs, instead of at my desk.

I tried sitting at my desk with my Happy lamp I purchased at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I just can't focus. Easily distracted by meaningless emails when I should focus on my knowledge trainings. My doctor just bumped me up to 150mg of Venafaxcine but I just want to sleep and vegetate on the couch.

Remote employees: what work equipment / hardware were you provided? I’m starting a new role next week and was given a single laptop. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. This is my 3rd remote job and this seems very strange as every other company has provided a full setup. What has your experience been? I confirmed with my recruiter that this would be the extent of what the company will provide. Is this strange?

Anyone have experience or tips for transitioning from tech to a SMB? I work for a mid-sized tech co. with great benefits (wfh, flexible, unlimited time off) that is pretty toxic and to be honest, I'm burnt out. I'm interviewing at a local business that sounds like a great opportunity, environment and so far I'm pretty excited about what the job would be but I'm a little worried that it's just too different. It's more in person, 35 min commute, limited time off but family friendly.

Hi, I need suggestion. I’m an IT Support Specialist working at a school. I’m not at all happy and liking the job as it involves a lot of non IT things and unorganized workplace. I’m speaking with Cognizant recruiters and they’re offering 40k to 42k with 45k being max with WFH for now. Should I save time traveling to job 3.5 hours a day and spending 3000$ on bus fare a year and do wfh for 42k?

I'm an remote AM for a smaller manufacturing company with a large footprint in the LE industry. I have been with my company just shy of 10 yrs. Salary is low, raises are rare, benefits are okay but the people within our company are nothing short of amazing and my customers are my heart. I know I can make significantly more somewhere else. I'm trying to hold on to the option of staying with my company. Looking for anything PT after 5 pm ET to 11 pm Mon - Fri & anytime Sat/Sun

Morning, I want to get into a remote Linux Sys Admin role. I have RHCSA, some internship experience with Ansible, Nagios, Checkmk, Foreman, Jira, ServiceNow, Apache, LAMP Stack, and basic Bash & Python Scripting. I've sent 200 applications and had no luck. What can I do?

I had a really bad experience with my practice group leader last year. Other partners, who I love working with, acknowledged that they treated me wrong. I got off pgl's matters and with remote work, I could deal being in their group. But I stopped attending group roundtables and other things where pgl would be bc I can't stand their whiny voice and toxic tactics. Recently, I had to lead a meeting and they steamrolled it. I was visibly pissed. Should I leave even though everything else is great?

Is saying COVID (ie WFH) hires are weak and perform poorly just another iteration of "back in my day we could..."? It really feels like people moved from dumping on "weak" millennials to gen z.

I want to come to Amdocs from EPAM with few months of experience, currently SDE2. I do have some questions, though.
1. How does EPAM compare to Amdocs? Regarding the job satisfaction, projects, Permanent WFH, etc.
2. This company is, in my opinion, one of the best for growth and high-quality projects. Can someone vouch to this?
