I fell asleep on the plane from DCA > CLT today and had a dream that American Airlines instituted a new policy where the entire flight is just a nonstop ad for their rewards credit card, and they stop announcing it only if 50% of passengers completed an application.

I think I generally do good work… except on one case with one partner. I got added to the case at a crucial moment with no context and no time to get caught up to speed. What I was asked to do was beyond my experience level and it’s been mistake after mistake since then. I just made another mistake this week, which I promptly addressed. Just paid $4,100 in federal income tax. Single (changing in the fall), don’t own home yet (possibly changing tomorrow), no kids yet. Made too much for any student loan deduction and for any other deductions to matter. Paying that makes me physically ill considering what was already withheld.

How do you deal with a client that’s very opinionated and completely disregards your suggestions? This is specific to user experience. Our client is not making the right choices and is following the same path that wasn’t originally working for them. We are trying to do our best to steer them in the right direction...but they’d rather not trust us

I was a month in as Workday HCM Consultant with Accenture. They immediately throw me into the HCM courses to obtain my WD HCM certification. There are three parts HCM Essentials, HCM Applied, and HCM Practical. The passing score is 70 or above. I scored a 62 on the Essentials portion, I passed Applied, and at the end of this week Practical. During class, I received an “immediate connect” Team call and I was fired because of my low score. I'm devastated, and shocked. Yesterday was my birthday.

Any introverts here feel exhausted after a day of client interaction? I get home to family and can't fully unengage until the kids sleep. Feeling very guilty/inadequate despite the $.
