According to an article in LinkedIn new job postings are down for the first time in 9 months but still there over 10 million open jobs with only 5.9 million unemployed workers. Why is it that here I am unemployed over 4 months and still not one offer. Anyone got some positive vibes to send my way it would be appreciated! I’ve been in sales for over 20 years, b2c, b2b and account management as well as sales management. I’ve got great skills and enthusiasm to give to a great employer!

I’ve just passed the final interview for a Business Development Manager position for SaltPay, UK. Does anyone know of the commission structure, KPI’s etc to expect? Former biglaw first-years now in government: Do juniors in government get more autonomy than those in biglaw? Or is the review process for juniors' work at least more efficient/streamlined (i.e. reviewed by one mid-level and one senior, instead of four mid-levels, two seniors, and two partners)?

Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.

How do you guys solve for voice and tone when you can't agree with stakeholders on what a "young, engaging" tone sounds like? Having issues pushing forward a project

Which is better long term. A job at a Big agency with big clients VS. A job at a smaller shop but higher pay and title with more responsibility.

What do you do to fight burnout? Got a raise yesterday and will get another in September, for dealing with a lot of stuff, but I can't shake the burnout.

I am going to move in the next few month to a location with a higher cost of living due to personal circumstances. I love my current company but I’ve only been here a little over a month, how should I go about requesting if it’s possible to get a salary increase? Might be a stretch but thought it might be worth mentioning.

Been a coach at the collegiate level for 6 years. Make a $65k salary. Want to leave coaching and break into sales/marketing/recruiting/consulting. I have ample leadership and recruiting experience with a strong work ethic.

Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.

Am I stupid or did the e-learns not prepare me for any of this? The training told me I'd be auditing cash but I haven't even touched a bank reconciliation.

Networking question here. A retired partner at the firm I used to work out reached out to me recently about attending an afternoon during the week (b4 4/30) with one of his long time clients. The partner and I have kept in touch since I joined my new firm and I feel like his invitation is a great networking opportunity since the client (who I have worked with before) is on a number of boards. Torn as how to request off as an S3. Could materialize to nothing but could be good for reconnecting.

Can anyone help me how much time this takes ? Most of the times no HR is replying to my mails and calls not answering

I’m responsible for strategy, comms and key partnerships for a bank product. It reports through Customer Experience but touches product, Ops. marketing. It’s basically a Project Manager role but more nuanced.
