How is Analytics & Cognitive doing at D? I have an offer and I am not sure if there will be layoffs again. I am on work visa so will be difficult.
Role will be for Google Cloud & Analytics. Current job doesn't suck much though.

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.

Just made a career pivot and accepted a job with Progressive in sales. I’ve heard more good things than bad about the company. Responsibilities include direct oversight of onboarding, support, implementation/integrations, customer success, production - fulfillment, production-web dev, and content departments. 8 years experience at various management levels, 2 years as DOP.

So my peers in my team earn double what I earn and work significantly less, get promoted over me and have bonuses. Also get to make decisions over my goals and such. I have a new leadership now but how do I escape this?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
