Just signed a new employment contract! Any tips for coming up with a good 90 day gameplan?
There's nothing like new sales guy energy. The less you know the easier it is I've always found. Somehow the new guy always landed great number his first week or few weeks. Any tips, ideas, strategies to make the most of this 'new guy' energy? Cheers folks

I work for a firm on Wall Street, I was given a lot of responsibility out the gate. However, it’s my first year and I’m already signing ADV’s and other SEC docs on behalf of the firm. Something about it just feels rushed.

How do we get others to join Fishbowl? There are currently only 15 of us from the company and we have about 2000 employees now.

We are starting to prep a big case for a 3 week federal trial. I’ve been an attorney for a year now and my firm has had this case for a while. What are some tips you have for prepping and also that will make my boss choose to take me to the trial? I have been the main associate on the file but other attorneys have done stuff here and there.

Anyone have any affordable case management software recommendations? I’m looking for something a bit non-traditional as I work for a small nonprofit. Ideally the software would involve document organization/access as well as like a running “log” for folks to post relevant events or work completed for the file.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? TIA!

Second year associate here. How should I deal with the one partner in my practice group who seems to exclusively give me lousy assignments that we’ll never get paid for? I get great work from everyone else.

What are the odds of getting into Big Law after being an associate at a boutique in a small market? I clerked right out of law school and am now joining a boutique firm with the hopes of gaining experience quickly. While relocating isn’t an option right now, I have considered trying to move to a larger firm in a larger market in the future. Has anyone else done this?

I made it to regional manager for a franchise by age 22. Ran a successful financial practice & sold by the age of 33. Took 2 years off and built a health & wellness coaching platform for my wife (medical provider). Then, the last 2.5 yrs, have been a top producer in Saas sales as a senior account executive. I’ve been told I would make a great COO someday and I’m ready to take the next step into leadership. Who/what should I be targeting next?

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

Do we got some good offers or its another certificate just to add to CV after so much of investment & time I don't want to get this wasted !!

Role is of Tax senior which is equivalent to team lead in general. I'm exploring roles in WELLS FARGO as I am looking into profiles in investment banking. Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10.
