Just took my first ever LSAT practice test, scored a 144 but left a bunch of questions blank due low on time. I haven’t sat in a chair for a test like that since high school. I just bought a prep course but feeling like I got a long way to go for my goal of 165. Any thoughts of suggestions, I’m taking the LSAT in november

Residential Real Estate. Started practicing five years ago in NYC because it was a firm that was willing to pay me out of law school. I had little interest, but 5 years in the field has taught me a lot. I have periodically realized that my skill set is limited - never stepped inside a courtroom and don’t know the first thing about litigation. Are there any other residential r/e attorneys out there who feel trapped in their field?
Any big law attorneys that have switched to in-house positions? Is the work life balance any better?
So I’m doing a secondment, but it’s supposed to only take up to 70% of my time. It’s going to take more than that. I’m already getting pressure from partners at the firm and simply don’t have enough hours in the day to do two full time jobs. I’m thinking of putting an out of office on to my firm email during the day (explaining where I am and what I’m doing) - is that dumb? I feel like I can’t possibly monitor two inboxes at once and the firm wanted me to do this, anyway. Advice, please.

I have been reading posts from newer associates about bad things partners have done or said to them and I think it could be fun for some of us more senior lawyers in the bowl to tell stories of mean things partners did or said to us when we were new associates. Hopefully it stays mostly light and not horrible things.

Very torn and looking for advice. Was about to apply to mbas in a few weeks to enter business school with 3 years of experience—started in consulting out of UG. My essays are written. My recommenders are writing. All fine and good, but I just got an offer for a large, well-known tech company in sales for about $155k. One option is to take the job for a year before mba, but I would want to exit into tech anyway for a similar role ( a bit more senior) Is an mba still even worth it?
Why do you hate Trump so much? He is making it better for Americans. I agree that he messed up somethings but we can fix it after him. For now, I like tax cuts, more jobs, and more salary.
