Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
I’m looking for a screening tool that will assess a candidate’s proficiency with MS-Teams. Would anyone know if there is such a thing that exists?
AEs: What do you appreciate about your core SE? What would you change about how you work together?
How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
Is your organization planning to require employees be vaccinated? I understand why management wants this but concerned about losing good employees because they don’t believe in vaccination or are wanting to wait until more people have been vaccinated to see if there are issues with it. I’m also concerned with moral if we require this. Employees may get it to keep there job but hold on to some bitterness or develop anxiety over it. Am I being too soft or over analyzing?
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
Does anyone have a dashboard or excel template for turnover/attrition where data can be easily “dumped” in for a beautiful display? TIA!
Software Sales vs. Medical Sales: would like to hear from people on both sides. • Do you recommend your industry? • Daily Interaction • Work/Life • Income growth potential I have good opportunities in both industries, and would value feedback to help me choose. Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.
I would like to help those wanting to shift careers in HR, minorities, or women going back to the workforce, learn workday coding and ultimately help them get a job in the space. Is there any interest?
In your experience, which companies have provided the strongest enterprise sales training and methodology?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?

I had a job interview and was told I would hear back after the holidays, would that mean after Thanksgiving or in January?
Hours real talk. I've always been very "bill what I work" so that means light weeks I'm destroying my own utilization/billing initiatives instead. Meanwhile peers bill 40-45 regardless. Am I an idiot?
For those who consistently donate to people in need, approximately what percentage of your post-tax salary do you donate in a year? I'm just curious where I am relative to my peers. It looks like this year I'll be donating ~2%. I haven't been working long so I definitely donate more than I have in the past. I also don't always make donations that are tax deductible. Please no contrarians or people telling me I should put my money in the stock market/savings. :)
I am really worried and nervous about our future. The past four years have been so difficult in the classroom due to so many things regarding our jobs. Then, we have this awful political climate...
