Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?
Any strategies or resources you could recommend for getting rid of the dreaded annual performance review (or at least lessening the dread) and creating a more effective year round performance feedback system? Our review is currently tied to our end of year bonuses and merit increases, so not sure I could get rid of it entirely. This would be for hourly and management employees, all working on-site.
What's the harshest thing your Buyer has ever said to you? Ex: Buyer emailed my colleague "instead of sharing photos of our empty shelves why don't you spend your time getting us more product"
To hr professionals in finance..I’m considering getting an online certificate through Cornell in data/analytics. Worth it or do employers think it’s equivalent to Coursera?
Hi! For the folks who have recently took the SHRM-CP exam this year, how would you describe the test and any tips you can provide would be helpful!
What training or guidance are you giving managers at your firms about managing hybrid teams? There is a lot out there on remote teams, but a lot of us are going back three days a week which means people at home and people in the room. Any tips to pass on?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Good morning, I work for Solugenix placing top notch candidates at companies throughout the US. I just started at Solugenix so anyone who needs any assistance either finding a job or looking for candidates please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
Any female MM/ENT AEs with SaaS or Fintech experience looking to make a move? Series D company positioned to IPO in 2 years. Would be wild if this works lol
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
I’m looking for an outside sales rep in Milwaukee for a SaaS company. My top rep last year cleared $800k before stock. If you know of anyone or think you’re a good fit, let me know!

Fixed income Credit analyst in boston. Make 60k +15k bonus. Sitting for level 3 cfa in June and have my CAIA designation. 10 vaca days/ year. Am I getting screwed?
Anyone else starting to sort of... adjust? I feel like I hit a turning point in early June where I started to accept this as the new “normal” and my mental health improved a lot. Looking back, the negative comments (even joking) I was sharing with friends a few months ago seem a little toxic now. Maybe we can be okay?
Anyone have any suggestions for accounting, finance, or data analysis books or online material to prepare for an MBA? I’m accepted to LBS but my background is in entrepreneurship so I know a lot of random stuff but I want to be prepared for the required core courses.
Hi friends question to the group. I have a friend interviewing for director role at PWC consulting within the public sector practice. What’s the base / all in comp range she should be expecting?
Quick question on Personal Capital — I just downloaded and set up the app. It looks like only 3 months of my Chase credit card transaction history will import to the expenses. Is this right? I can’t see a way to get any more data than that, which is fine, but just wanted to make sure this is normal. Thanks!
Just had my 3rd interview last Thursday, with my potential AD partner. Haven’t heard anything back since. Should I assume they’ve moved on or is this pretty normal? They rushed me through all the interviews and the first CD gave my book more compliments than Ive had in an interview, so part of me thought it’d be quicker. Dying to find FT now as freelancing for the last year has been rough.
Anyone know what it’s like to work at Barton F. Graf? Their grande juice stuff is insane in a good way.
I’m new to Canada. Wondering if you charge tax when you are doing freelance? For example, if your hourly rate is $30, do you send the client an invoice with GST/HST ? i.e. $33.9. Any insight would be great! Thank you!
With the cancellation of so many activities due to COVID-19, what will be the % increase in babies born in 9 months?
Anyone have advice on assessing which recruiters are worth engaging? I’ve decided to look into what type of options exist locally for my experience (industry, level, comp.) but not sure where to start
Hey all, I'm a Y2 analyst with Accenture Strategy that just got an MBB offer - honestly not sure what to do. Reasons for MBB: Decently higher pay, cooler work (on average), better exit ops. Reasons for ACN Strat: I've been lucky enough to be doing exclusively cool strategy work, all while working 40-50 hours per week consistently. Question I'm struggling with: if I'm only planning on staying for 2-3 years: are the better exit ops and permeant credential from MBB worth the extra 20 hrs/week
What does an SVP at edelman do? How much is comp
Finally got my first cleared job at 145k. I'm looking to stay in cleared federal work for a long time. How is the salary growth potential for cleared employees?
I dislike my salary and I need to do something about it. I’ve only been with the firm for about 6 months so I don’t know if it’s feasible to ask for MSA.
Legacy OTS here, I still can’t name one advantage from a personal level that I got out of this whole integration with Parthenon. Basically I didn’t get a raise, I can’t apply to any rotation program due to my level, there’s immense confusion, don’t work with my “new” legacy P colleagues who think they are better than us. How was your experience, Thoughts?
For those more senior folks in their 30s, would you mind sharing how your compensation grew from your early 30s to late 30s? Curious if anyone got continued raises of 25-50k / year as you progress?
