My male boss recommended the book “The Confidence Code” which is a self help book for women. It was recommended to all the females that work under him. I feel like that's a little inappropriate?

Has anyone ever gone through the interview process at Citi for HR roles? I have a question

I woke up this morning, went to the gym, made myself a nice breakfast. Folded some laundry, cleaned up the apartment and now I’m working outdoors at a coffee shop. Lunch hour is blocked so I can take a nice walk and listen to a podcast. God I love remote working.

What small to medium size Post shops are your favorites? Great if in addition to Edit they can do some Gfx (nothing fancy) & finish too, (basic Color). Too many projects with the same vendor & need more variety. NYC/East coast a plus but not a must… Any thoughts?

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

Do we got some good offers or its another certificate just to add to CV after so much of investment & time I don't want to get this wasted !!

Took 2 years off and built a health & wellness coaching platform for my wife (medical provider). Then, the last 2.5 yrs, have been a top producer in Saas sales as a senior account executive. How does everyone feel about the online SHRM learning for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP for Certification?
Do you skip around? Do you follow the path? Where does one start?

We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

I strongly believe new hire onboarding should not sit in the HR/People Operations space but should sit in the HR Coordinator/HR Generalist space. As a new hire, they should be able to have a confirmed point of contact especially during their first 90 days and People Ops should not be that point of contact unless there’s system or access issues.
