I have no experience in front end but i know react js ,html , css , bootstrap but have total experience of 2.5 yrs in testing but want to switch to FE ,,,,,what would be best way for project explanation

1. Should I lie that I have worked on project in front end
2. Should I tell them that I have no experience

Ps : people working in infosys for 2.5 yrs in FE , i asked them about their project and it was not anything like for 2.5 yrs experience mainly repeated stuff and bug finding .
