Looking for some insight into the recruiting process. If a req was taken down after I had an interview, does it mean the job was filled? From the moment the hiring manager makes a decision and tells the recruiter, what are next steps before the successful candidate is notified? Do you have to finalize an offer with the comp team?
If you are feeling sick or something during the day and WFH, do you feel comfortable napping it off and then getting back to work and working late if needed? I have friends that say this is totally normal and okay but I feel weird about it and can never actually rest to feel better if I do lay down
Can anyone recommend a certificate or course that is actually useful for developing professionals and/or reviewing performance? I don’t want/need something that is just a credential, I’m actually looking to get some formal grounding in these two topics so I can overhaul processes at my consulting firm. Thanks for your advice!!!
Where o where is my motivation 🎶
Anyone interested in podcasts about advertising? I’m thinking about starting one as a challenge to myself and a way to help (myself and) others learn. The premise that a couple of creative guests and I would sit down and try to crack a brief in an hour (or at least an edited hour). Any initial reactions to the concept? Sound like something you’ve heard of already? Good? Boring? Tell me all of your opinions.
What are thoughts on working at Area23?
What happens when “creative is driven by data” 😖
How many of you took pay cuts for Covid? What percentage? And have they reinstated to normal level yet?
I am currently unemployed but I am very curious about everyone’s company signature having she/her or he/him or they displayed. Are companies forcing people to write the pronouns you need to choose? I honestly never understood why somebody that wasn’t in the LGBTQ community would specify, and I know people are doing it to show support but if I started working again I don’t think I would want to put that in my signature. It seems political. What are your thoughts?
Hello please can I find Victoria’s boot camp I keep hearing about this being great to study for shrm exam but I can’t find it anywhere thank you
Hi everyone, Looking for a M&A HR checklist that includes due diligence through integration. I have one but would like to see what else is out there and compare. Happy to share my email directly.
Looking for ideas on how other companies are celebrating and recognizing diversity holidays like LGBT pride month Juneteenth black history month women’s history month etc.Not just days off
Trying again: has anyone switched from a marketing/ brand consultancy (like prophet) to agency side? Wondering differences etc—
What training or guidance are you giving managers at your firms about managing hybrid teams? There is a lot out there on remote teams, but a lot of us are going back three days a week which means people at home and people in the room. Any tips to pass on?

Recently learned that some agencies have a ‘rate card.’ Is it literally a menu? “Print ads, $1000 bucks.” What is it. What’s on it. How much.
I was working with a recruiter to relocate to another market before covid and was recently stealthed. Should I share this information with my recruiter?

Does anybody have insights as to Morgan Lewis’s post-COVID approach to remote work? As in, do they intend to have flexible arrangements, or are they going to require everybody to report in-person?
I’ve been seriously considering quitting my six figure job to start my own law practice. I’m obviously terrified and uncertain when is the best time to give notice (I feel like need to have a solid plan before doing so). Any tips, comments, recommendations, feedback you can give if you’re a solo practitioner, worked for one, or also thinking about opening your own firm? Is opening a general practice firm a good idea to bring in as much business as I can? Is it a bad time to do this during covid?
How long does it normally take for the V20 to all match raises? Do we think Jones Day will raise like they did to 190?
What is salary range for Senior Associate, financial services regulation and compliance risk at kpmg, mba, 1yoe? Thanks

Any agencies not returning to the office? I have loved this year of WFH and never want to go back.
Just got laid off even with good performance and I'm totally shocked 😞 ugh who's hiring??
How does Basic Economy ticket work for Delta Platinum members? Do you still get comfort+ or FC upgrades while checking in?
How do I pick myself back up and keep from being resentful? I went up and did not make the promotion to manager this review cycle. This, despite a strong case and backing from practice leadership. I have been staffed in the Manager role since last November. The decision makes me feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Separately, I took a medical leave to tend to my suffering mental health. I went on leave just as I heard back on promotion. I am dreading coming back, knowing I feel this way.
I’m curious as to what organizations actually pay for some of these external training courses. For example, I see SANS courses and training, which are highly regarded but extremely expensive. Most large firms including the Big 4 do all training in house and won’t allow you to expense unless there’s a need, which I’d assume would be hard to justify and get approval for. I’d imagine most F500s don’t have the training budgets for those either.
Do you guys think it’s a good idea to cold email partners in the office you are interested in to secure interviews or will that seem pushy?
Has anyone seen a fertility specialist early on in the process/prior to TTC for a year? Wife has PCOS and we are planning for a child but are debating the possibility of seeing a fertility specialist sooner rather than later.
Any IBM folks here who can speak to back-to-office plan? How is remote work (really) viewed? Interviewing w them next week. Interview tips also appreciated.
