India anyday.. you'll shift from being a king here to a pauper there

Yes, exploitation of the labour class is what historically kings have always done, so it makes sense for this analogy.
Crazy job risk in UK … PM ki Kursi also not safe there
I will choose India, but question is about you. You weigh your pros and cons for both. Better to analyze that way.

London
1. 90k GBP is good money for UK.
2. Beyond 20-25 lpa, incremental improvement in quality of life crawls down to zero in India because of usual third world problems. At that point most people would feel stagnant.
QOL keeps on rising to the next level with rise in income, there is no boundary.
To the question above, the choice would depend on your prime motive to go to UK. If you are a bachelor you can explore UK opportunity and see for yourself how you would want to plan the future. Can always come back. Some of my friends who were very positive to moving back to India have now dropped the plan because life is very organized and predictable in London. Coming back to the chaos of India will be very troublesome for some them. So the choice is beyond just purchasing power parity and CTC.
Aqi can be sorted to a significant extent with purifiers at home and office where you spend most time but Delhi has many other downsides compared to London.
That's about 5.5k GBP per month after tax. For a family of two, 4k is the general expenses while staying in zone3 in London in a decent 2bhk house for a family with 2 kids. So you can save about 1.5k GBP per month which works out to about 1.5 lacs per month. Can you save that much with a 40 lakh salary in India? Then no point in going to UK. I think if you can save even 75k to 1 lakh per month in India with a 40l salary, then no point of going to UK.
Quality of life is definitely better in the UK. Then you should go for it. Plus potential to earn more after a few years of UK experience can give you a much better lifestyle further down the road. Plenty of IT jobs in London and lesser competition
From when Air quality index became factor in choosing job
90k Gbp anytime. Please also tell me how to get offer from UK company?
220 aqi
As you can see from the Purchase Power Parity calucluation, 90k GBP will offer you a lifestyle equivalent to earning 30lpa in India. You are better off in India with your 40LPA. Hope this helps.
I am open for suggestions n advice. I havent confirmed anything yet. Thanks for your input.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if you havemoney buy air tank not go in europe
