Also manager (3 days later): why are we not meeting our deadlines and why are you over budget?

I have 6 yrs of HR exp, a PHR cert & an HRIP cert. I recently left my role as an HR Rep at a tech co b/c I was working 60+/week and the stress of the job was affecting my health. I recently received an offer at a new tech co that is $10k less than what I was previously making with comments from current EEs that this new co has a better WLB. Total comp is still a lot less than my prev company. Is less comp too much of a compromise for better WLB? What have you compromised for a better WLB?

Any 🐠 in Telecom billing/BSS sales? Looking for perspectives on the industry overall and what the big shifts will see over the next few years. Also looking to connect and share personal experiences.
Overall have to say the space has felt quite stagnated last few years, especially in MSOs. Too much fear to make any major shifts, especially now in covid.
Hello all! in the cruise sales industry for about 8 years. always been a top producer but my last job I was at a cruise line that went belly up. Salaries in cruise industry are very low 20-40k and work hours are awful. I’ve always been a top performer everywhere I go (making 150kish a year) but am seeing these six figure salaries in saas sales etc. Do saas companies hire top producers from other industries? Where is a good place to start? Ton of experience in sales force and coaching others too.
Looking to finally go get my SPHR having the PHR for the past 6 years. Still value and pursuing and obtaining?
I work in an old school company that does not allow anyone to work remote except for management if necessary. Ever since the pandemic started, it’s been a regular day reporting to work and sitting in the office all day. Due to Covid, we decided it’s best to not meet in person but stay in our desk and talk via Teams/zoom. I am now struggling on finding a remote job because I don’t have any remote work experience. Any tips on how to get a remote job in HR?
Im a BDR at a large medtech vendor that expanded into SaaS complimenting our existing smart devices at hospitals. Sales cycles are long in this industry (min 12mo), but seems our value-add platform is so new to market that it’s taking longer (16-24+mo). I’ve been here for over 6mo and support 3 AE’s with zero pipeline and wins, despite meeting my own metrics to get meetings. Is this complex environment usual for enterprise software sales? Not sure if I’m hurting my new sales career by staying.
For those folks doing sales at edtech co’s, what have you found to be the typical comp structure? I have over 15 years in the Ed space, but currently evaluating several opportunities in the entrepreneurial space. Thanks!!

Struggling to price myself (for a raise) at my small in-house “agency” . Doing ACD-level work with massive creative control and responsibility, reporting directly to VP of communications + VP of creative, but I’m (currently) the only writer - so no direct reports.
Currently hold “copywriter” title, 5 years of experience (all in-house), located in NYC but company is fully remote.
Looking for a new role, currently in my current one 7 years and feel I need a new challenge anyone know of openings in Dublin for senior sales managers that they would like to share.

Thoughts on Goodwin Procter? Particularly interested in thoughts on East Coast markets and/or litigation for mid/senior associate and/or counsel/junior partner.
I recently heard of two people, one under 30 and the other under 40, passing from Colon cancer within 15 months of diagnosis. Not to talk of Chadwick Boseman. Considering the current screening recommendations are for age 50 and above, what can we do to better advocate for earlier screening?
Based on a quick conversation I had with a friend recently and some minor research, it appears screening once symptoms appear may be too late.
And this applies to advocating for our health generally.
Might seem silly question..
My CTC would be 6.8 LPA from December 2021.

Evaluating an offer for SM and looking into some perks at Deloitte. I heard Deloitte has corporate discount rates for Hilton and Marriott. Can this be used for personal travel? (i.e. book directly with hotel using my personal card and enter the corporate discount code)?
Creating my quarterly employee culture survey. What are some questions you wish someone would ask you?/ things you wish you could say about your workplace anonymously?

Lawyers that love practicing family law, what do you like about it? Lots of lawyers say they will never practice family law (or will never again), but I know people that do love practicing it. I have (happily, for a while) been a public defender for 8 years and am thinking about leaving for another type of law. Family law seems like a possibility, but I don’t want to hate what I do.
Anyone from JPMorgan Chase work on the Global Technology Strategy team? I’ve got an initial interview tomorrow afternoon with the recruiter and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the team with anyone before or after that conversation. Thanks!
Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? Conventional wisdom is always that if you don’t start there it’s hard to “trade up”. My coworker and I just did it to two different great v30 firms, and I’m wondering if it’s really that uncommon? Just out of curiosity. We’re not special counsel with special niche skills or anything, just associates. Pitfalls to beware? Positives?
