As a Phoenician, Phoenix is better
I assumed the responses would be overwhelmingly, if not completely, skewed to Denver so I'm pleasantly surprised tbh. Not sure my decision is any easier though haha
Denver is a somewhat livable city and has somewhat less terrible residents.

I grew up in Phoenix and have a lot of family there. Son lives in Boulder and I have been there a lot. Phoenix is really hot in the summer. Have you lived there? If not, you don’t understand. Even at night it’s over 100. There’s not that much snow in Denver. It’s really only on the ground a handful of days each year. I would pick Denver over Phx because there’s much more to do and the city is more walkable and Phoenix is hot AF. Also Arizona is a little more politically nut job (how’d that cyber ninja recount work out for you?) which I would like to avoid.
Denver is a far higher COL area, factor that in. There’s COL calculators you can use to compare two cities.
If it’s remote why do you have to move?
Phoeni,!

Take Denver salary and live in Phoenix
Edited my post, not possible
I live in Denver but am from Phoenix originally. I love it here way more. I moved here originally with no friends and have built a big friend group throughout the years. It just depends on whether or not you’d take advantage of what Colorado has to offer (i.e. Skiing, Hiking, Biking, etc.) because I don’t think Denver is super worth it by itself.
I think Phoenix has better food options honestly. But Denver is more of a city, has friendlier people, and has a great sports atmosphere as well if you are into that. All of the major sports team are pretty much right next to each other. Personally I love Denver, I’ve lived here for four years now and wouldn’t change anything about my experience. Colorado’s main appeal to me is the outdoor activities though and I do think there are much better cities than Denver if you don’t take advantage of the outdoor aspect
Denver is better for outdoors and is growing very fast. Definitely a bit more expensive than Phx.
Personally I can’t deal with snow consistently, so I’d opt for PhX just for the warm weather.
If I had to pick a place for vacation or to work for a few weeks in the year? Denver easy
Update: it'll actually be 130k PHX or 150k Denver. Leaving Phoenix at the moment but still flip flopping every day

I think 130 gets you further here in phx depending on goals.
