2 yrs in audit at a top 8 firm. I’m beginning the interview process at a highly visible startup that is benefitting from the impact of Covid. Would be an Acct role, no senior title.

Current Salary: 13.5lpa
Years of exp: 4+2 (2 yrs post MBA)
Current Role: Assistant Project Manager, IT industry

What salary should I expect/ask for if I decide to switch? I think I am being underpaid right now. Please suggest.

Please also suggest any certification which could help me prepare myself for interviews. I am confused between PMP and CSM. Which one would be better/more suited for IT Project Managers?

Capgemini - Associate Consultant

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.

I was told all interviewers were really happy with me so she would be glad to arrange a reevaluation for the new role(I was interviewed by 2 Sr. Managers & an MD for Sr. Consultant role and will have to take another round with a partner for the managerial position). Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it.
