Should I choose Deloitte Consulting Finance Transformation or Deloitte Consulting M&A Finance given they are similar comp and leveling? Would also have same cross sector opportunities.
What is the general comp structure like at ACN for MC for the following levels (Tier 1 city) -SA -C1 -C2 -C3 -M1 -M2 -M3 -SM
What is v10/v20/v30? I work at Latham but in London and we don’t use that terms at all in the UK. We have magic circle for the top UK firms and white shoe for the top US (although most people don’t really use white shoe, they just assume all US firms in London are decent due to the salary disparity).
M just promoted to SM. In tech strategy, what should I expect from a salary bump? Currently at 165k with MBA from target school.

Hi fishes, i joined USI 2 years back in EA ( global finance, data analytics) at 5.6 , got a 15% hike this year means i bearly beat the two year inflation and now take around 6.8 . At 4.5 years of experience i feel my ctc is quiet low and i do not have any hopes of corrections that are due in dec. I am facing one of the most wild shifts in mindset ever — i always thought i wanted to be this super accomplished career driven woman, but all i care about these days is making enough money to buy more real estate and retire asap. I feel like a hypocrite some days, and somedays i’m willing to sacrifice job interests for higher salary and just get to my goal of early retirement though real estate. Can someone please tell me i’m not going crazy :( this duality is weird to deal with.
What's the internal job transfer protocol for PwC? Do I really have to contact my RL first before applying anywhere? I'd like to stay in the same office and don't really care about getting a higher salary. Just want to stay at PwC in a tax related role (which is what I'm in now, just more niche).
Has anybody changed locations from SF or NY to a Lower COL city like Chicago during COVID (specifically in tech) and had their salary adjusted down? If so, how much was the decrease?

35 yo with 340k in 401k. Same amount between investment and savings. Would it be stupid to lower 401k contribution to pay down mortgage faster? (250k remaining, 2.5%/15 yr).

Just got a ping from Facebook for a role as a Decision Scientist- from the description seems like it could be BI/analytics/D.S. Role with an emphasis on “understand how users feel”??? It’s very vague. Anybody out there have experience with Decision Scientist? How technical? How independent? Etc?
CGI or CACI? CGI: 107k base, match50% up to 4% max of $2500, health deductible is 2k 🙃 i believe annual raise is 2% (at most). Or stay at CACI: 86k, match50% up to 8%, deductible is 600, annual raise 3%.
Is it really worth it? When I think about having a kid I get sooooo much anxiety. I fear: the extra pressure on a relationship, the cost, the decision to keep working vs quit the job, the possibility of the kid having a lifelong disorder, the physical act of being pregnant, the act of giving birth, not having any time for myself, making an 18+ year commitment, the kid turning out terrible & blaming myself, making all the decisions on how to parent, & more. Does/did anyone else feel the same?

So, I am Dir of People Operation presently and had a SPHR certification which I let lapse maybe 5 years ago. What value does the SHRM - SCP bring to my career at this point.
Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run

This could translate into more workplace hostility and acts of sabotage from worker bees and middle management for Black people.
