For sure, maybe associate if there is demand

Probably these days given hiring has slowed down significantly :(

10 months of consulting experience?? Uhhh that’s not even close to enough for a Sr C position.

Lol SM1. You be so fancy.

Hard to say really. Depends on what kind of healthcare industry experience, and how you were doing in the consulting role. If those aren’t a slam dunk, then a consultant role may make more sense.

Starts with Consultant, first promo is Senior Consultant, then Associate is a junior manager, then Engagement Manager. Most people start as generalists and align to a practice after a few years, around the time they make Associate. But some practices will recruit directly at the more junior levels

Yes, I had 3YOE in the healthcare industry and 0 in consulting. Joined as an SC, CCG

Correct. Usually you start leading projects & work streams as an ASC. However, a lot of engagements have higher/more experienced SC’s (SC 3 for example) acting in an associate role as needed (by request for proposal staffing/budgeting, understaffing, or just the nature of the project). Which would most likely translate to an ASC promotion at year end.

Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
