Goal is to transition into strategy or IT/digital consulting.

From what I have researched so far, my client related work in advertising sounds very similar to a consultant’s day-to-day.

Between client relations, developing brand strategies, analysing data, and implementations, I feel as if I’ve built a career that can easily transfer into consulting.

I have offers from Amadeus and Deloitte. YOE - 4.5, SDET. Amadeus offering 18L fixed+ 1.5 Variable+ 75k Joining bonus. Deloitte is offering 16 Fixed+ 1.6 Variable +1.5L joining bonus. Which one should I choose if I am looking job stability and learning opportunities along with decent work life balance?

I recently had an interview with cognizant..HR DIScussed salary and role and told me that I will expect the offer letter in 2-3 days. But it's been 18 days, i did not hear anything from their end..Hr is not picking up my calls . 7 days ago she replied on my email that I will get my offer letter soon..after that no response.
Will they consider me? Is it sure I will get my offer letter?

How do you assess your client time as billable or non-billable? We are currently reviewing our time card process and want to better establish groundwork for differentiating between the two. Further to that, do you have your time members log their time and categorize it as Billable/Non-Billable upon submission? or does the Account Manager review submitted time cards and assign each based on the work being logged?

Those of you who left for industry, what do you work towards in your role? I was reflecting on my time in public and there was always something, whether it was a new section in the file, getting more client contact, getting invited to a big golf outing, running the jobs, managing the jobs, etc. I worry that leaving would leave me bored and not motivated to hit any sort of goal. I’m burnt out and worry that I’m making a rash decision lol. Thoughts?

Anyone have any advice on how to break into customer success? I've been a BDR for over 2 years now, and I've learned a lot from that role. My next step I feel is a CSM or CSA. I am more of a farmer than a hunter and I'm very customer-centric. I find my strengths are in CS but it seems like you need experience within CS to break into CS. Any tips or referrals? Thanks!

I am working in .Net tech stack from quiet a few years. Basically in framefork like WPF, .Net 4.6 framework and MVVM.
Also on android development using Xamarin.
Need to understand whether the above frameworks/technology has any value in other companies or have become obselete though I see good openings in many product companies.
