Wondering how to best sell myself to adcom?

Goal is to transition into strategy or IT/digital consulting.

From what I have researched so far, my client related work in advertising sounds very similar to a consultant’s day-to-day.

Between client relations, developing brand strategies, analysing data, and implementations, I feel as if I’ve built a career that can easily transfer into consulting.

I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

Has anyone bombed their last interview (case or assessment) and still got the job? My assessment went over 10mins and so my interviewers and I didn’t have a chance to exchange much, but I did make an effort to ask if they still have some time and asked more questions related to the role. What are my chances 🥲

Probably the antithesis of this bowl - but need some advice. This is for a house in a Southern metro. Built in 1960s completely remodeled in 2000s with some very recent additional remodeling of kitchen and bathrooms. Well kept house. The price will be nearly $1M, the same as something built in 2010+ with similar square footage (because a lot of the price is the lot, its a super expensive zip). Should I steer clear because of the age? Will it cost a ton in maintenance and utility bills?

Any tips, tricks for GMAT and using Magoosh effectively? I’m a month-ish out of test day, and using Magoosh... my practice test says 660 (although I did much higher on GMAT math than Magoosh math).

I have a month left till my GMAT. Should I start solving the official questions timed or solve more untimed until I feel more comfortable? Asking because TTP is religiously advising on untimed strategy, but I’m currently struggling with timing especially CR; untimed sessions often make me take 3-4 minutes per question (80-90% accuracy). - median undergrad GPA at European non target engineering school but turned around performance in masters
- 700 GMAT but took it while working at McK

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

I have my table of avg GMAT and all.. but for a 25 year old white male in big4 from a big 10 school with a 3.5 GPA. How high of a score do I need for INSEAD/LBS/M7? Background feels just a bit generic
