No one cares
Thanks for your valuable input, P1. Get laid.
Apparently, cost cutting is part of that vision.
They really should be expanding our benefits if anything. Has anyone looked at the margin our firm makes on projects? As an employee I really don't care if the firm hits the BS 2020 targets or partners make more money. But when they cut away at what are minimal benefits already, that is just spitting at the face of the people who bring in the money.
Your firm is paying $60 a month for you to have a tool to do business and $60 covers a great phone, data, insurance etc.. i know because I pay for 7 phones across 3 generations....if you need more data for personal use then kick in the $20-$40 bucks...I think the firm is balancing how to spend the money focused on us as employees..
I thought Vision 2020 was getting bigger and better.. now we are getting small and worse
I only see one whining scrub here 👆🏼🙈
That's what happens when you go on a hiring spree last couple of years. Ex EY so I know what I'm talking about before you dismiss it.
As a senior going from $100 to $60 a month phone reimbursement equates to $480 a year less in benefits. Over the span of my career here it does add up to a lot of money PWC1 so yeah I think we have a right to be upset that our benefits are slowly getting cut. This is on top of the already rigid expense policy we have and the fact that EY completely changed its pension benefits this year read: we essentially don't have one any more. As an employee it's a lot of cost cutting measures to deal with in a short amount of time.
EY5, if you have multiple lines, average gets lot cheaper, but for just one line with nominal 6GB data at ATT is 80+ tax. When you are a frequent traveler, 6GB takes no time to finish. Now, the firm doesn't have to give even 60. I'd still be with EY ;)

Get laid? You must be in dire need of some yourself. I get enough
P1: As Donald would say it, you won't be my first choice I can tell you that.
I'd rather work alone than with a bunch of over paid whining scrubs worrying about $200. You sound like ungrateful peasants bc of a perk being eliminated and more beneficial ones being implemented that saves a firm money.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 nice come back
