Knew a friend that kept denying projects for 5months and unbeknownst to everyone he was working elsewhere at another consulting firm. Totally unethical, but damn he bought a car. Lol
You'll be getting a notice soon saying to get your ass on a project in two weeks or you're getting a pink slip. Happened to me.
What level are you?
3 weeks later you're going to be on a project working at 11pm and wish you didn't jinx yourself by posting this
It's a game and if true, your friend was writing the rules, big props to him.
I haven't either, that's why I feel like I owe to myself to milk it a bit before leaving

nice. was about three months for me, but had a few false starts in there too
A3: depends on your area. if you have a needed skill set, i think its a longer leash
What happens if you chill on the bench for a few weeks during the summer and then abruptly quit.
4th week and loving it. Not that I haven't been keeping an eye on the pipeline, I'm just really not that eager to get staffed when I can be working from home.
