It's the "loves this" for me

The LinkedIn headers have gone too far now

Nice try Accenture.

The update really solidifies the cringe for me 🫣

No one tell him that the most diverse companies out perform the least diverse companies by 36%, or that firms with above-average diversity produced 45% of their total revenue from innovation versus their counterparts (who with below-average diversity) produced only 26%. And make sure he doesn’t know that companies with representation of women exceeding 30 percent (and thus in the top quartile) are significantly more likely to financially outperform those with 30 percent or fewer OR that companies in the top quartile for ethnic diversity show an average 27 percent financial advantage over others. And he certainly shouldn’t be informed that companies in the top quartile for board-gender diversity are 27 percent more likely to outperform financially than those in the bottom quartile, and those in the top quartile for ethnically-diverse boards are 13 percent more likely to outperform than those in the bottom quartile.
Because it’s all about winning with white men, right?
This being on LinkedIn instead of Reddit is going to be the main thing that keeps him from getting the job more than anything
Rising Star
Sadly, he is the reason people came up with this diversity "bullshit"

As a white man, I kind of love it when these idiots really show themselves, because my main impression is that they would last less than a week if they actually had to navigate the world as a woman or a minority. For all of the benefits they received, they are such touchy little snowflakes because they are so completely, fully, insecure. That's it, that's all it is. Same goes for their grand poobah on this topic, Elon Musk and the entire legion of anti DEI man boys. Just scared, insecure little nothings.
Yikes, diversity wouldn’t even be needed in 2024 if people weren’t discriminating all those years ago. Somehow people conveniently forget about the initial wrong that we are all on the hook to pay for now.

That's the most ridiculously inane aspect of these screeds: that somehow, as a society, we have ALWAYS recruited and hired in race/gender blind ways selecting only the "most capable". That's an absolutely laughable assertion. Add into the mix that 99.9% of the time it's an aggrieved white dude making the assertion, and the whole thing has the statistical odds of being true that, I dunno, winning Powerball?
Oh simple, simple Jason.
As a person of color He is not wrong. Hiring should be based on capability vs color creed race etc. his messaging is more of a rant vs a logical pov
Exactly. I am black and he is exactly right. I want to get the job because I'm smart and qualified. Not because I'm black and contribute to diversity for the sake of diversity. Now of course if there are two people who are of the same experience and level of qualifications, hiring a white person over a person of color is not the suggested way to go if the panel is already mostly white. I personally would choose the POC because it matters when it comes to decision making and point of views as well as relatability for customers and clients of the company. Same goes for gender as well.
As a POC, don’t see what’s cringe here. It’s like y’all white saviors think the only way we can compete and get a job is as a diversity hire.
It’s the “racists, misogynists, evil!” For me
What happened to socio-economic diversity? No one cares about the white man who comes from a poor family? Oh because he’s white, he has privilege.
DEI-backers are racists.
