Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

I’m about to join G! So excited! :)
Is this like a humble brag thread? Help me understand why IGAF about working at Google or anywhere else? Especially because OP “can’t really help" anyone with a referral.
This thread is designed to make high performing but low self esteem consultants think that the grass is greener or that they haven’t quite made it.
You all have made it, beyond so many stretches of your imagination.
Live within your means and be nice to people, and your life will be really good— and definitely on par with everyone else in the top earner set — where we’re all so busy comparing ourselves to one another.
@A3: 3 years in m&a due diligence in your FS practice
Thank you so much! 😄 fishbowlquestions@gmail.com
OP what kind of skills are they looking for in Python? If you were in M&A why do you need technical skills? Sorry if I don’t get the connection just yet.
One day I’m going to become a googler. :) Taking my skills to the next level promoting away from a consulting
@Associate1: Best way to negotiate with google is to have a Facebook offer for leverage. I didn’t, and I was totally swamped at the time with my consulting project, so I paid the price. Worked itself out over 2 years but still a mistake
@Google1: Does beer count as a snack? The software engineers for the team I’m working with now have chosen excellent ways to fill their keg fridge. Was L3 for a cycle, now L5
What would be a potential business / strategy role for someone with an infosec and forensics investigations background? Cloud sales comes to mind, but are there any other groups?
@P5: we have program managers in CorpEng and Trust and Safety with these backgrounds
Hey OP, any thoughts on the (admittedly unreasonably long) list of questions I posted above.
No rush to answer, just wanted to make sure all the replies didn’t push it out of your view.
Thanks again for the candid AMA
@D4: It does take some adjustment to not be the core product, but the data analysis we do in POps is so cool that I think I’d take the job anyway

Do any of you have partners who work at professionals services firms that have rules re:trading. And if so, does that impact your ability to be compensated in GSUs/RSUs)
@B1: I have no idea, sorry
@p7.... OP already said “doesn’t know how to help.”
What level did you join at and how much experience did you have
How were you recruited by google?
Which firm or group of firms did you come from (MBB, Big 4, other T2, etc)
At Accenture, what was your DTE/alignment?
You got in through a recruiter but do you know how a lot of your peers moved? Recruiters too, referrals, apply online, networking events etc.
