A lot of meetings these days are on Zoom/Teams. I find myself muting participants often who constantly have background noise. It's always the same 2-3 culprits too. Anyone else do this?

You're not alone. Do you notice a lot of times it seems to be senior leadership (management, design leads, sme's)?

funny

It makes me wonder how they got up there lol

It’s the older folk. No offense.

Yes! Always, always the same handful of people! Should make the mute all button a hotkey. When I’m not presenting something, I check constantly to make sure I’m muted. My biggest meeting pet peeve is when people have tech issues and want to spend a chunk of the meeting bringing it up.

Yea its frustrating

Yes, there are always a few people who have way too much going on in the background and have to be muted. I don't know why people dont' think to just mute themselves when they know they have alot going on in the background lol.

Hey all, I have been working in Identity and access management space at EY for past 4 years. Need help with understanding best exit opportunities?

I’m at a midsize firm in the Midwest and I’ve noticed that we’ve hired multiple associates who all graduated law school the same year. Some are coming from clerkships, other firms, etc., but they’re all on the same graduation year. This feels like it’s setting up a squeeze down the road for these folks with respect to partnership. Is there something I’m missing or is this something that will cause issues down the road?
