A s& recruiter mentioned I would come in as a “third year senior associate” - what does that mean for comp/my placement in the hierarchy? For reference I’m at the post-mba-hire level at my current firm.

The general rule of thumb for a mortgage is 28% (primary residence) of gross income. My firm switched up their process and now instead of nice size raises it’s large bonuses. So getting increasing my gross income doesn’t really change unless I include my bonus which is obviously a variable. Is their a recommended approach for these scenarios? Maybe use agi on tax return instead of gross income?
