I’ve been broke and now I consider myself rich. I look and act like I’m still broke. I drive a simple truck and live in a modest home. A few people know I have money and they started treating me differently after they found out. I’ve made my money because I went to college and got a good job. I keep my money because I don’t buy a lot of expensive things and live on a budget. Most of the people you see with really expensive cars/things can’t afford them and are typically in a ton of debt.
That just means don’t live beyond your means. Make 250k? Doesn’t mean you should go buy a 911 it’s pretty self explanatory and you can adjust on a spectrum if you want to eat rice and beans and retire by 35 or.. be less of a miser
Stealth wealth is a thing.
I act/feel broke because I pay myself first (invest) and then live below my means on the rest. So I feel like I'm broke (forced scarcity) while my investments/wealth grows.
