If it's a DREAM agency, swallow your pride and take the job if they offer, and if you're as overqualified as you believe they will promote you to your level of competence within a year or two.
Make friends with the recruiter. If you’re a dream, then they’ll call you. When they move on you are in each of yer Rolodexeseses.
Agree with Consultant 1, always take the meeting. Also once further in the convo, if things are going well, you can mention that you’re highly interested but you think you’re overqualified bc XYZ (double yrs work experience compared to job description, etc) — you better have a clear and concise explanation though
always take the meeting if you like the shop. always always always. get to know them, impress them, and they may elevate the position for you. if that's not possible then you have contacts there for the future (as long as you turn them down gracefully and kindly).
Agree with C1 & PM1. Always take the meeting... not the job. Build a relationship and if that’s not the right job, they’ll come calling when the right one comes up
