Advice needed. I am part of a two-person analytics team. It is just my boss and I, and she is two hours later than the rest of the company in Pacific time. She was hired about six months before I was.

I log on at 8 AM Central every day, and she doesn’t come on until about 11 AM Central (9 AM for her). I can tell on Teams that she is inactive about 5 PM Central when I log off, so she on average works about 6 hours a day not counting breaks. I irritated because I am doing about 80% of the work.

I’ve been working with a founder/small biz freelancing as their digital producer for a little bit. I’m having issues lately because they won’t give me a budget for content they want to make for their site/Instagram. I’m worried with the budget gate keeping that we’re going to burn bridges with contacts, especially now that we’re dipping into my personal contacts for content collaboration. Is this normal? My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it.
