Do you always need an MBA to get into MBB?
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Stay.
Finding a place where you like the clients and the people you work with is a rare thing.
If I can give you one piece of advice, just make sure you're not chasing a title. I was in a situation where I made a title my goal, and jumped agencies (though to be fair, I was going through a bit of a transition with the agency I was at). I feel like it kind of put blinders on me for some of the red flags. A few months into the gig, I realized I made a mistake.
Why haven’t you gotten a promotion or raise at your current role? Are WPP media agencies in a promotion/raise salary freeze?
If not, then be honest with yourself on why you haven’t gotten one at your current place. Because if there are reasons you have not, they will be the same in your next role if you truly have not learned from them.
Happy and likeable clients and coworkers go a long way.
But with that said they only way to really make more money is to jump ship.
this is standard wpp 😤
Go and don’t look back
Do you have any concerns for the new team? I would see if there’s an opportunity to ask more questions before accepting the offer. I left my last job thinking I was moving into a better role, but I got catfished. It’s a mistake that I’ve been living with and hoping to leave when I reach a year this summer.
where you are sounds great! but what made you interview in the first place?
as a groupM survivor, I say take the money and run. when it’s good it’s good, but it turns quickly
depends on what your current position is, and also what your pay is right now. Are you making enough to live the way you want to? Are you able to save for retirement? If your finances are working for you right now it makes sense to keep a great thing going. It depends a little on what position you're in now. If you're on the junior end, it might make sense to take the other position and start moving up the ladder if you've logged a couple years in this role.
Very true. I’ve heard a lot of good things from former colleagues about the company and did have a good feeling from the interview. (But as you know, you don’t really know someone from a quick interview)
Read some of your other responses saying $ isn’t a huge issue right now. If you don’t want to start something new in the summer, stay where you are. It’s difficult working in the current WFH environment let alone trying to make new connections and on boarding in it. Having a great team dynamic and client relationship is critical to being content with work right now.
Is this a once in a lifetime opportunity?
So curious about your current level & discipline! Who is the new agency? Why did you start looking/accept the interview, did you seek out a new role or did they find you? So many variables it’s hard to give solid advice.
