After 25 years working for an organization I was laid off and I started working as a consultant for TKE system .
- I really love the work I do in the company I am assigned to provide services but I confess my concern is lack of “stability “ working as a consultant.
Can anyone that work as a consultant tell me the pros and cons you see ? Do you work only as a contractor can you share your insights?

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Additionally, while I’ve worked with McKinsey, Accenture, McKesson, and other teams on major projects, I don’t have experience putting together the strategy, more of a support function.
