After 4+ years at my company, I want to switch to an industry job. But I'm struggling to define what role I'm best suited. Most of my experience at my firm has consisted of data warehousing and ETL development in traditional on-prem database systems. I feel like I'm in a gray area between "data analyst" and "data engineer." Does anyone have any advice or recommendations on the kinds of positions I should be looking at? Thank you in advance.

7 year lawyer here. Been with the same big national firm all 7 years (not BigLaw) doing complex litigation. Been working remote a long time due to moving around for wife’s job. As a result of the moving was bumped off partner track. I’m looking at a great small firm that will be a practice change (but still litigation).
