Just be straight with them and say you would love to be considered for the position. No need to beat around the bush. Don’t ask about work life balance or salary right away. Focus on the opportunity and the work.
Also don’t trap them in a coffee only. Option to do a video chat would be really thoughtful. Coffees are so annoying if it’s a one way street. I’d rather do a 20-min video chat and go straight to the point .
As a recruiter nothing is more exciting than when you have people excited about your company! So however it’s done, most recruiters appreciate the effort and enthusiasm.
Why not?
Yes
So asking things like:
- How large are the teams sizes
- hours they work
- how often they have to travel ... etc?
Thanks SC1. Totally makes sense.
Is it okay to ask about Salary? Work life balance? Travel? What stuff they're working on?
I've never moved companies before - I'm still somewhat junior.
Thanks!
